Technical Requirements for Live Online Training
Here are a couple of tips to help you get the best out of the training day:
You should use a desktop PC or laptop for optimal experience.
It's best if you have 2 screens. This way you can watch the trainer on one screen while at the same time completing the exercises on the other. Alternatively, if you are using 1 screen the trainer can guide you on how to split the screen. (The larger the screen the better).
For candidates to have the best experience, a laptop or desktop with a camera is required. We recommend cameras to be switched on during the course.
Excel Live Online Training - All you need to know!
How will attending Microsoft Excel Classes Benefit me?
A Microsoft Excel class will give you skills that are needed more than ever before. Excel skills are necessary today, not only in the office, but pretty much every industry has a use for this amazing tool. Advanced Excel skills are crucials for in-depth data analysis and decision making. The skills you will learn in an Excel training course will enable you to become more efficient, saving you time. Moreover, those very same skills may also open new doors of opportunity for you.
Speed up your work
Excel and data go hand-in-hand. Everything you enter in an Excel spreadsheet is classed as data. The key is learning the right skills to handle this data effectively, to get the data to work for you.
If you feel like you are wasting a lot of time on repetitive tasks or spending too much time trying to get basic results from your data, then you'll greatly benefit by the automation functions and formulas within Excel. This alone will increase your output and will free up more of your time.
So, what is the point of data? Is it purely to bamboozle you? In fact, data is recorded for many purposes, but can probably be boiled down to one ultimate reason. Analysis.
You see, data analysis is a vital component to decision making, business intelligence and planning. For instance, perhaps you want to know which month recorded the highest sales? Or maybe you need to calculate the percentage increase over the previous month?
Maybe you need to know what the lead product was in any given period? Or which employees met a goal within a certain time frame? These are just a few basic examples of data analysis. So long as data is entered correctly the results will be available in a couple of clicks. And if you want to make sure that data is entered in the correct manner, Excel can help you with that as well.
So you have no need to dread being asked any tricky questions about your spreadsheet. Because what you have learned about Excel will greatly help you get the results and insight you need to make well informed decisions.
No one wants to look at a messy spreadsheet, so transform your mammoth spreadsheet into eye catching, clean, reports, charts and Pivot Tables.
Visualise your data with dynamic charts. Use a series of charts to showcase your data. Bar charts, column charts and pie charts.
